A new legend is born!
Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend have welcomed another child.
“She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens – the house is buzzing and our family couldn’t be happier,” Teigen announced on Instagram, sharing a photo of her other kids, Luna, 6, and Miles, 4, holding the newborn .
“Daddy cries for joy every night to see Luna and Miles so full of love, and I learn you still need diapers with ac section!?” she continued.
“We’re in bliss,” Teigen concluded. “Thanks for all the love and well wishes – we all feel it!”
Legend shared the same photo, writing, “Our home is overflowing with love and joy.”
He added, “I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience and I’m so excited to see Luna and Miles hug their little sister. I’m so, so grateful, but that doesn’t seem big enough.”
Teigen announced she was pregnant in August, nearly three years after the couple suffered a pregnancy loss, sharing on Instagram “the past few years have been a blur of emotion to say the least, but joy has filled our homes and hearts once again. ”

“Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘Okay, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce it,’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m still too nervous,” she continued. “I don’t think I’ll ever leave an appointment with more excitement than nerves, but so far everything is perfect and beautiful and I feel hopeful and amazing. Ok phew, it was really hard to keep this up for so long!”
In 2020, Teigen and Legend lost their third child, Jack, at 20 weeks pregnant.
By sharing her pregnancy loss with the public, Teigen said she wanted to inspire women in similar circumstances. According to the Office on Women’s Health, pregnancy loss occurs in “as many as 10 to 15 percent of confirmed pregnancies.”
